Karakariki Christian Camp

On 16th of March ready to go to a  place I have never been to,"Come on guys lets jump on the bus I shouted". OMG I  was freaking out to take my first step in Karakariki Camp. At camp we first had to look at our dorms and then we had to walk to our overnight camp area. When we got there we got ready to do our tramp I was feeling nervous.When we got back we had dinner and our dinner was chili con carne with salad."Time to go to bed now room 12 Mrs Roskam Said clearly". Good night everyone !!!!

In room 12  and room 10 we have been making our buddy's, Mine is the one with the apron  which is called the artist. The people that are in my group is Me And Tartiana and Jordiss, Hannah, Ashlyn they are in room 10. We had fun doing our buddy's we appreciate room 10 for the help thats why they are our buddy's

Should children chhosetheir own bedtime?

Should children choose their own bedtime?

A sensible idea would be to not let children choose their own bedtime, because children would be late for school and would fall asleep in class. This will happen by watching TV and mucking around before going to bed. 

Naturally I feel they would be tired and grumpy in the morning. They will feel restless moody, exhausted and droopy. They will not focus or listen. Their parents will get annoyed by all the silly nonsense.

Others may disagree because children would feel like adults choosing there bedtime. it's great because they would choose the time at they are actually sleepy, because parent will choose the earliest bed time.

Everybody knows that parents will get cross with their kids nagging all the time. "Its never gonna help your parents with that headache. 

We can see from the evidence that children should not choose their own bedtime so that doesn't happen. Otherwise you would wake up with a grumpy child\children or sibling and sullen parents!

On that day we played a game with Dianne because we won the home play challenge, OH YEAH! the first games we played were paper scissors egg and that game was pretty fun, then we played dog rangers and that was super fantastic.

Term 2 Reflection

Term 2 has been a exciting term because Miss Barr has been in our class for 8 weeks which means she has been a good teacher. Well I have learnt alot of geometry with our good teachers and learnt how to do Picasso art. In have enjoyed everything that I have learnt this term like Picasso art because I love art.

My book is about Scorpion Sting. The author that wrote this book was Justin D'Ath. He is a really good writer and he can inspire a lot of children. In Scorpion Sting the main characters are Sam Fox and Nathan Fox, they are the main characters.

Summary

Sam Fox and Nathan went for an adventure one day, and they went into the desert.

They found a cave in the desert. So they went inside and saw a giant kangaroo that was a skeleton. Then the cave collapsed and Nathan got stuck and Sam needed to get help.

Character description

The main characters in the story are Sam Fox and Nathan Fox. Sam and Nathan are brothers they both like to go on adventures BUT Nathan REALLY likes to go on extreme adventures more than  Sam. Sam Fox is a very brave person and a risk taker.

Likes and Dislikes

I really like the way that the author tells a lot of information of the main characters and sets the scene.

Themes

The message in the story is "Never give up". Which means it tells Sam is a risk taker`and he still saves his loving brother.

Recommendation

I would recommend this book to 8 years or older, because It is appropiate for kids. And it is a pretty cool book.
