My book is about Scorpion Sting. The author that wrote this book was Justin D'Ath. He is a really good writer and he can inspire a lot of children. In Scorpion Sting the main characters are Sam Fox and Nathan Fox, they are the main characters.

Summary

Sam Fox and Nathan went for an adventure one day, and they went into the desert.

They found a cave in the desert. So they went inside and saw a giant kangaroo that was a skeleton. Then the cave collapsed and Nathan got stuck and Sam needed to get help.

Character description

The main characters in the story are Sam Fox and Nathan Fox. Sam and Nathan are brothers they both like to go on adventures BUT Nathan REALLY likes to go on extreme adventures more than  Sam. Sam Fox is a very brave person and a risk taker.

Likes and Dislikes

I really like the way that the author tells a lot of information of the main characters and sets the scene.

Themes

The message in the story is "Never give up". Which means it tells Sam is a risk taker`and he still saves his loving brother.

Recommendation

I would recommend this book to 8 years or older, because It is appropiate for kids. And it is a pretty cool book.

Netball

Yesterday we did some netball skills,Our coach for the netball skills was Aroha. Aroha was really cool because she taught us a lot of skills.

Tip Number 1: Stay 1 meter away from the person whose got the ball if you don't stay 1 meter away from the person whose got the ball it is called contact. Contact means your too close the person so you have to stand down beside the person you contacte.

  Tip number 2: Pivoting is moving your body into 4 different directions without stepping.

Tip number 3:This step is pretty basic. It is a rule that is not aloud to been played in netball. The rule is that you are not allowed dribbling the ball in netball because it is not basketball. if you dribble the ball in the netball game they wouldn't even come start and make the rules for netball.

                       Boom Boom!! What is that noise? I can hear it again.

Stop it! stop it!  I need to go to sleep!!!!!

           like exploding stars.  Sparkling, smoking,shining stars in the night sky.
